Lecture on family's role in kids upbringing

Manama: The Capital Governorate will organise a lecture event titled ‘The Role of Family in the Upbringing of the Young” at the Isa Cultural Centre near Al Fateh Grand Mosque today at 9pm.

The lecture will be presented by Shaikh Daaiya Soleiman Al Jabeelan from Saudi Arabia and Shaikh Rashid Al Hajri, Chairman of Sunni Endowments (Waqf) Council, from Bahrain. 

This is part of the fifth edition of the Nation of Mohammed (PBUH) programme titled ‘Proper Consumption,’ which comes with the support of Bahrain Islamic Bank in cooperation Consumer Protection Department at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Contemporary Women Society.

The event aims to raise awareness on the importance of the role of family in upbringing of individuals, as the family is the first social unit that individual grows and interacts with, therefore it impacts the raising of the individual, the formation of their character and guidance of their behaviour due to the family’s role in influencing Islamic values and moral qualities of the young.

The establishment of the Nation of Mohammed (PBUH) programme comes within the directives of Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, in order to promote the meaningful holy month that works to achieve proper upbringing and community development.
