Three in jail for robbery
Manama: The Lower Criminal Court sentenced three men to three years behind bars for robbing a house in Hamad Town. They are said to have entered the house by breaking the property’s back door.
Then they reportedly stole two window air-conditioners and a 49-inch television as well as a gas cylinder, microwave and big speaker.
The owner of the house estimated the value of the robbed items BD750. Meanwhile, the victim accused his neighbour of committing the crime because he was implicated in robbery cases.
Investigations found the victim’s accusations valid, and the neighbour was sent for trial along with his accomplices after he revealed to police their involvement in the theft.
