High traffic patrols on all Bahrain’s roads
Manama : Director of Operations and Control of the General Directorate of Traffic, Colonel Ali bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi said on Sunday that as part of the Ramadan traffic plan, there will be high deployment of traffic patrols on all Bahrain’s roads throughout the holy month to ensure smooth traffic flow.
He said that traffic accident analysis attributed some wrong practices to their occurrence, including lack of concentration and control of the vehicle, in addition to over speeding during fast breaking (Iftar) time or late hours of the night.
He said that not keeping the vehicle on the suitable lane for the desired destination and wrong overtaking during peak hours hinder traffic, as well as wrong parking inside neighbourhoods, places of worship and commercial malls.
He called upon drivers to follow traffic rules and cooperate with traffic police to ensure smooth traffic flow.
