Man gets six months for threatening to kill woman
Manama: The Lower Criminal Court sentenced a Bahraini man to six months behind the bars after he broke into a house in Sitra and threatened a woman with a gun.
The defendant is said to have differences with the woman’s son and went to their residence, seeking revenge.
“I was sitting at our house with some of the neighbours. Suddenly a man broke into the house and he pointed a gun towards me. He told me that he wanted to kill me and my son,” the woman said.
“When I asked him if the gun was real, he told me whether I want him to shoot me to know the truth,” the woman added.
“I then learnt that he was having problems with my son. We tried to calm him down until he left,” she explained.
The woman then filed a complaint against him in police.
