National Guard presents cash donation to RCO
Manama : The National Guard personnel presented a cash donation to the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) in tribute for its charity projects in Al Quds. The move is part of community partnership the National Guard presidency is keen to promote with various companies and institutions in Bahrain.
The cash donation was presented to RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Sayed by the National Guard Advisor for Religious Affairs Shaikh Dr. Rashid Mohammed Al Hajiri.
Shaikh Al Hajiri said the donation aims to support charity projects in Al Quds, pointing out that its proceeds came from the subscriptions of the National Guard affiliates. He lauded the support and care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the RCO Honorary President, for Bahraini orphans and widows and for charity and humanitarian work in Bahrain and abroad. He also lauded the support and follow-up of National Guard Commander Lt-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and Staff Director Major General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Al Hajiri also commended the efforts of RCO Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in providing charity and humanitarian assistance to the needy very competently.
