Southern Area civic body spruces up main roads
Manama: Southern Area Municipality decorated the main roads in the Southern Governorate with lights on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The decorations included the Clock Tower Roundabout in West Riffa, Wali Al Ahd Avenue, Riffa Avenue, Isa Town Gate and Baghdad Avenue.
The municipality stated that 22 Ramadan lamps (fanous) were installed at Isa Town Gate and two large ones near the Clock Tower monument. The decorations also included installing 26 lighting greetings at both sites.
“Around 50 trees were decorated with lights and 30 light balls were placed in different areas in the governorate,” Southern Area Municipality Director Asim Abdulateef said.
He greeted the Wise Leadership and the people of Bahrain on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, wishing them blessings and prosperity.
