Principle of fairness informs next phase of nation’s development

Manama: Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday evening visited the Majlis of Shaikh Abdul Hussain Khalaf Al Asfoor, Majlis of the sons of the late Ali bin Yousif Fakhro, and Majlis of Khalid Rashid Al-Zayani.

During the Majlis visits, the Crown Prince highlighted that a key priority within the next phase of Bahrain’s development is to promote the principle of fairness, and that this goal will directly support policies and strategies aimed at enhancing the public sector’s role in fostering opportunities for all.

HRH Prince Salman also highlighted that continuing to increase competitiveness in a range of areas will help raise productivity and further improve citizens’ living standards. He went on to add that under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Kingdom will continue to advance development efforts to ensure that citizens’ aspirations are met.

The Crown Prince stressed the importance of continuing to invest in citizens’ futures, adding that Bahrainis are a vital component of the Kingdom’s long-term development. He also emphasised that the next phase of development will focus on creating an environment that is conducive to providing high quality opportunities for all Bahrainis.

HRH Prince Salman extended his best wishes on the Holy Month of Ramadan to the Majlis hosts and guests, and noted that Ramadan reflects the unity and solidarity that exist amongst Bahrain’s society.

The Majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for the Crown Prince’s visit, and highlighted the important role the Crown Prince plays in advancing Bahrain’s sustainable development.
