BDF Quran recitation competition concludes
Manama: HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, son of HRH the Crown Prince, yesterday patronised the closing ceremony of the 26th Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) recitation of the Holy Quran and knowledge of Islamic Studies competition, held at the Royal Special Forces headquarters in Hamala.
During the ceremony, HH Shaikh Mohammed praised the outstanding level of proficiency and commitment the individuals participating in the ceremony demonstrated by memorising and reciting the Holy verses of the Qur’an. He also noted the role the BDF plays in supporting these types of ceremonies, and congratulated the winners.
Earlier, HH Shaikh Mohammed was accorded a warm welcome.
