BCCI bizwomen take part in a major forum in India

Manama: The businesswomen committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), represented by its counselor Batool Dadabai, participated in the Women Economic Forum 2016 organised by the All Ladies League and held in New Delhi, India.

She presented a working paper that emphasised on the role of GCC business women in their communities and the support they receive.

BCCI board member and head of the businesswomen committee Afnan Al Zayani commended Ms. Dadabai on her successful participation in the major event, which saw participation of over 1,000 businesswoman from 109 countries.  

Al Zayani said, “Taking part in the event constitutes an invaluable opportunity to exchange experiences and liaison with influential figures from around the world”.  

She added, “We are always keen on utilizing such events to promote Bahrain and enlighten the world of its business environment and investment climate, not forgetting to shed a spot light on the milestone achievements of Bahraini women”.  

“We strive to intensify our presence in local as well as international business events to promote Bahrain, strengthen business ties, and stimulate investment and joint ventures,” she concluded.
