Unity to the fore

Manama: Emphasising on the dangerous situation of the Arab nations amid conspiracies to drive wedges among the countries for expansionist ends, Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has underscored the importance of Arab Coalition and cooperation. 

HRH Premier also praised Saudi Arabia’s unrelenting efforts to defend the Arab nations and their interests, pointing out that the Arab nations are facing an unprecedented danger in light of the conspiracies targeting its security and stability. 

Commending the ability of Saudi Arabia to lead the Arab and Islamic alliance, Prince Khalifa stressed the need to support it. 

HRH the Premier was speaking in a meeting with ambassadors and Heads of the diplomatic missions of friendly countries, led by Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Azam Al Mubarak Al Sabah at Gudaibiya Palace here yesterday. 

The Premier expressed regret over the deteriorated situation in some Arab countries due to civil wars, pointing out plots to disunite the Arab nations and distract attention from the Palestinian cause.  

HRH the Prime Minister underlined the need for a more effective role of relevant organisations to mend the Arab rift, stressing that any interference in Arab countries’ internal affairs is unacceptable. 

Prince Khalifa also urged concerted efforts to stave off dangers and thwart plots to drag the Arab nations into the cauldron of violence.
