Bahrain-Mauritania ties stressed

Manama: Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the importance of developing bilateral ties between Bahrain and Mauritania yesterday.

HRH Prince Salman was speaking in a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mauritania, Isselkou Ould Ahmed Izid Bih, at Riffa Palace. 

The Minister delivered a letter from Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz to His Majesty  King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. 

The letter, received by HRH  Crown Prince, included an official invitation to HM the King to attend the forthcoming 27th Arab League summit to be held in Mauritania in July.

The Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Minister conveyed the best wishes of Mauritania’s President to HM King Hamad and the people of Kingdom of Bahrain. 

He also reaffirmed his country’s commitment to further developing bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
