Crown Prince emphasises national unity and community cohesion

Manama: Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday evening visited the Majlis of Deputy Prime Minister HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, which was also visited by Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. The Crown Prince also visited the Majlis of Shaikh Mustafa bin Abdullatif and Mohamed bin Abdulla Al Mannai.

During the Majlis visits, HRH Prince Salman highlighted the Kingdom’s adherence to the spirit of coexistence among all factions of its society. 

He stressed the importance of rejecting all forms of extremist ideologies that undermine national unity and mentioned efforts to underpin the Kingdom’s development.

HRH Crown Prince stressed that the Kingdom will continue to uphold the rule of law in the face of any attempt to undermine it. 

Prince Salman reaffirmed the  collective duty of every citizen to maintain national unity in the wake of any attempts that seek to compromise national interests. In this regard, he also recalled the peaceful values of Islam that enshrine community cohesion as a vital principle for all human societies.

HRH Crown Prince went on to note that the Kingdom’s gains are a direct result of the contributions of loyal Bahrainis, who have united their efforts over the past decades. 

He underlined the importance of strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors to further build on efforts to diversify the economy.

Speaking about the next phase of Bahrain’s development, the Crown Prince noted that the Bahraini citizen is the cornerstone of development and sits at the heart of the Kingdom’s wide-ranging programmes. He added that the leadership is committed to safeguarding the interests of citizens and achieving sustainable gains by facilitating high quality opportunities. 

During the visits, Prince Salman also spoke about the importance of seizing opportunities through efficiently developing productivity and instilling innovation as part of the efforts that underpin the next phase of Bahrain’s economic development. 

HRH Crown Prince confirmed that this phase will be supported by facilitating a growth-stimulating envir-onment that promotes private sector-led growth and entrepreneurship to improve the living standards of citizens.

Prince Salman emphasised the importance of further integrating the partnership between the public and private sectors through adopting the principle of sustainability in the development of various economic sectors.

The Crown Prince also extended best wishes on the Holy Month of Ramadan to the Majlis hosts and guests, and noted that Ramadan reflects the unity and solidarity that exist in Bahrain’s society.

The Majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for the Crown Prince’s visit, and highlighted the important role the he plays in supporting and strengthening national unity.  

HH Shaikh Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of HRH Crown Prince, also accompanied him during the visits.
