Works Ministry commences revamp of roads near school
Manama: Roads Projects and Maintenance Director at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Sayyed Bader Alawi yesterday revealed that the Ministry had recently commenced the revamp of roads surrounding Abdul Rahman Al Dakhil Intermediate School for Boys at the Capital Governorate’s 1st Constituency.
Alawi explained that the project comprises of revamping the 0.75km-long roads surrounding Abdul Rahman Al Dakhil Intermediate School for Boys, providing parking spaces, paving and brick works, installing ground channels for future use, implementing storm water drainage network, lighting and signage.
Alawi also stated that the project contractor had been directed to take utmost safety precautions to ensure the safety of students. The BD189,931 project was awarded to Abdul Karim Al Jahrami Contracting.
