Family Bank’s aid for projects mooted
Manama: The annual meeting of the Family Bank yesterday discussed the support to productive families, micro projects and young entrepreneurs as part of efforts to enhance Bahraini families’ standards of living and promote their economic empowerment.
Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan, who is also the Chairman of the bank, chaired the board meeting.
Family Bank was established in 2010. The panel also focused on the role of the Family Bank in supporting the government-led progra-mmes and initiatives to tackle unemployment and encourage job seekers to set up their own businesses.
The board meeting was also attended by Family Bank Vice Chairman Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyed, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Khalid Ateeq and other officials.
