HRH Premier hails Bahraini Press

Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has urged to pay more attention to initiatives that revive the values of cohesion and fraternity among social segments.

This will cement national unity and make it more fortified against challenges and attempts to sow divide and undermine security and stability, he explained.

HRH the Prime Minister stressed that the government’s measures aiming to put an end to attempts to exploit the prevailing political openness and democratic atmosphere to tamper with the nation’s security and stability, and provide the necessary cover and support to terrorism will continue.

The government of Bahrain, like its counterparts across the world, will not allow such practices to continue, he said.

HRH Premier made the statements while receiving a number of state officials, media and press figures and intellectuals.

HRH the Prime Minister praised the keenness of the Bahraini Press on adopting issues that support national unity.

He stressed that Bahrain’s free Press is aware of the challenges of the current phase, and recognizes the need for every national effort to protect the homeland against their negative impacts, in the security, social and economic fields.
