Final match of ‘Nasser 9’ tournament today

ManamaThe final match of Nasser 9 Football Ramadan Tournament is taking place today between Victorious and Batelco Gunners United at Khalifa Sports City Football Stadium under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee. After the final whistle, the champions and the runners up will be crowned and the referees of the match will be rewarded.

A closing ceremony will be held on Wednesday to reward those with individual achievements as well as the sponsoring companies. The Organising Committee has sent an open invitation to all football enthusiasts to attend the final game.

 

Shaikh Nasser instruct to allot BD 55,000 to teams

Shaikh Nasser approved the allocation of a whopping BD47,000 to the teams. The winning team will be awarded BD12,000, while the runners up will be handed BD 8,000. 

The teams who reached the semi-finals will receive BD3,500 each and the teams who progressed to the quarter-finals but were knocked-out will earn BD2,000. 

Eight teams who participated in the group stage and didn’t make it to the quarter-finals will get BD1,500 apiece. Meanwhile, a combined total of BD 8000 will be distributed equally to the players who won the best player of the match awards.
