HRH Premier assures vital measures to ensure security

Manama :  Necessary measures will be taken to maintain security to ensure a conducive atmosphere that motivates people, said Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

“The Kingdom is capable of safeguarding its security and stability. We will not allow it to remain dependent on those who take violence, terrorism and sabotage as an approach to undermine the country’s achievements in all fields,” HRH Premier stressed during a meeting at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

The Speaker of the Representatives Council, Ahmed Al Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, MPs, senior State officials and former Speaker Khalifa Al Dhahrani were present. In the meeting, they expressed the Legislative Branch’s support to all the measures taken by the government to rectify the track of political action. 

Meanwhile, commenting on the latest developments, Prince Khalifa remarked: “What the region is currently going through makes us more determined. There is no compromise when it comes to the security of the homeland.” 

“We are certain that we are capable of overcoming all challenges that seek to disrupt development efforts, based on our cohesion, national unity, and advanced and modern system of legislation and laws,” the Premier said.

During the meeting, HRH Premier expressed satisfaction over the steady progress of cooperation between the Executive and Legislature.  “We are partners in responsibility, and our ultimate goal is to serve the nation and its citizens. We appreciate your patriotic stances,” HRH the Prime Minister added.
