Bahrain condemns terror attack in Jordan
Manama: Bahrain strongly condemned yesterday's terrorist attack that targeted a military site serving refugees on the northeastern border of Jordan. A number of members of the Jordan Armed Forces were killed and several others were injured in the attack.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its condolences to the families and relatives of the martyrs. It wished for speedy recovery to the injured. “The Ministry affirms its full solidarity with Jordan in confronting violence and terrorism.”
It also reiterated its unwavering position in renunciation of terrorism of all forms, and urged for a common stand to counter terrorism. “The Ministry calls for concerted efforts to eliminate all the dangerous terrorist organisations that pose threats to world’s security and stability,” it added.
