Vision 2030 has vital role in preserving economic resilience: Crown Prince

ManamaHis Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s programme, a key component of Bahrain’s sustainable diversification efforts, continues to inform every aspect of the Kingdom’s path of achieving prosperity, said Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Prince Salman was speaking during his visits to the Majlises of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Al Arayedh family yesterday. 

The Crown Prince highlighted that the economic challenges the region currently faces demonstrate Bahrain’s Vision 2030 role in preserving the country’s economic resilience. HRH Crown Prince added that a key priority for the coming period is to transform the public sector’s role into a dynamic regulator. “The principles of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, sustainability, competitiveness and fairness are key pillars of the country’s next development phase. It will guarantee high quality opportunity and prosperity for all.”

Speaking about the private sector’s initiatives, he said it had made a significant contribution to promoting the principles of sustainability, competitiveness and fairness across a range of sectors.  

Prince Salman also stressed that extensive collaboration between the public and private sectors would help accelerate economic growth. The Crown Prince also highlighted that the recent enactment of wide-ranging laws directly supports the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen the private sector’s role in driving economic growth.

HRH Crown Prince concluded by emphasising the importance of continuing to foster innovative opportunities in order to increase competitiveness in Bahrain’s thriving sectors. 

Meanwhile, the Majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for the Crown Prince’s visit, and highlighted the Crown Prince’s commitment to advancing long-term diversification efforts to guarantee opportunities for all Bahrainis.
