Media coverage of ‘Nasser 9’ hailed

ManamaHH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, praised the local English and Arabic media as well as sports websites for their wide coverage of the second ‘Nasser 9’. 

Salehi’s efforts recognised

The Organising Committee of ‘Nasser 9’ surprised its President Tawfeeq Salehi by giving him a souvenir as a token of appreciation for his unwavering contributions, in addition to his complete support and collaboration with them.

Tawfeeq Salehi pointed out that the teamwork from all the stakeholders was the key to success of the event, and also singled out the support of Shaikh Nasser.

Al Hawaj “Proud” of Supporting Nasser 9

Abdulwahab Al Hawaj, the Chairman of Al Hawaj Group, said that the group is full of pride for its support and contributions, hailing Shaikh Nasser for the extraordinary ideas and notions aimed at transforming the sports movement in Bahrain. Mahmood Abdulrahman of Batelco Gunners United player expressed his utmost happiness on being named as the best player of the tournament.

Late Shaikh Khalifa praised

Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa praised Shaikh Nasser’s gesture to reward his brother, the late Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, among the athletes who contributed vastly to the sports in Bahrain,  in the closing ceremony. He branded this initiative as a ‘medal of honour’ and a proof of  Shaikh Nasser’s keenness to reward the athletes and volunteers.
