‘Vision 2030 ramps up pvt sector’s role’
Manama : Bahrain’s Vision 2030 endorses vital initiatives for bolstering the role of private sector so as to achieve sustainable development, said Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed Al Mulla yesterday.
“The blueprint of Vision 2030 is the driving engine that helps administrative and technical improvement in all sectors. It is based on sustainability, competitiveness and justice,” he commented.
The Speaker also commended the dedicated efforts of Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to achieve progress under the reform project, initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Hailing Prince Salman for visiting Ramadan Majlises across Bahrain, Al Mulla stressed that these visits contributed to cementing national unity and strengthening bonds among all segments in the Bahraini society.
He pointed out that a total of 31 legislations had been promulgated to revitalise investments and protect society.
Al Mulla described the laws as the results of fruitful cooperation between the legislative and executive branches of government.
He reiterated the determination of the legislature to support the Crown Prince’s efforts for supporting the strenuous drive to spearhead mega economic projects, attract capitals and investments and bolster Bahrain’s standing. The Speaker also commended the initiatives of the government, chaired by Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, on the occasion.
