Batelco receives Business Continuity ISO certification
Manama : Batelco has been presented with ISO Certification in Business Continuity (ISO 22301:2012) for its Access Network Line Plant Assurance and Protection. With this Batelco has also become the first telecom company in the Kingdom to achieve this certificate from Certification body Bureau Veritas.
Batelco Bahrain CEO Muna Al Hashemi said that the certificate validates the hard work of Batelco’s continuous management and the team’s efforts in Business continuity planning, implementation and continuous improvement towards customers’ experience journey, while continuing to prioritise the needs of all customers.
Batelco Bahrain General Manager Human Resources & Corporate Services Suhaila Alnowakhda presented the award to the managers of the certified department. The Chief Executive of Certification Bureau Veritas Bahrain, Zulfiqar Haider, was present at the event which was attended by a number of Batelco’s staff who were involved in the implementation of the ISO standards within the various units.
