Bahrain to have five-day Eid holiday
Manama : Eid Al Fitr for the Hijri year 1437 (2016) will be on July 6, 2016 (Wednesday). Ministries and state institutions will be closed on the Eid day and the two days following it. Since one of the Eid days is already an official holiday (Friday), it will be compensated by extending the Eid holiday by one more day. Hence Sunday will also be a holiday.
