Iraqi fugitives helped Bahraini terror suspects

ManamaFive Bahraini men arrested for forming a terrorist group, received help from Iraqi fugitives, according to court files.

The two fugitives, who had their Bahraini citizenship revoked, gave orders to the five suspects.

The suspects reportedly established a group to organise illegal rallies, sabotage acts and attack police officers as well as to plant fake bombs.

The first defendant was the one who coordinated the activities among the other defendants. He was paid BD250 for his efforts.

Meanwhile, the second defendant admitted to receiving money for distributing promotional materials against the government. He was also responsible for making detonators and explosives.
