Premier's Edict restructures Bahrain Internet Exchange
Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister issued Edict 38/2016 restructuring Bahrain Internet Exchange (BIX)'s board of directors under the chairmanship of Shaikh Bader bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
Ahmed Jaber Al Dossary has been appointed as Deputy Chairman of the board of directors, according to the Edict. Also, Col. Mohammed Abdullatif Al Mahmoud , Taha Mahmoud Faqihi, Musaab Ahmed Abdullah have been as members of the board of directors. The duration of their membership term shall be one year renewable.
The Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications has been tasked to implement this Edict, effective from the date of its issuance, which will be published on the Official Gazette.
