KHK MMA completed formalities

Manama : The Kingdom’s representative, Khalid Bin Hamad Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts Organisation (KHK MMA Organization) have completed the formalities ahead of the 3rd IMMAF Amateur World Championships with the team’s six fighters having concluding the registration procedures and successfully undergone medical tests.

Bahrain’s fighters will feature in four categories and have completed the weight measurement procedures being conducted to decide the category of each player and in some cases being asked to put on weight or drop some kilos to fit in their respective categories.

They are - Hussain Ayyad (56kg, 5 wins and 2 defeats),  Fahad Abdulrazaq (56kg, 5-2), Abdullah Seena (61kg, 9-2), Mohammed Adnan (66kg, 2-1), Abdullah Al Fayez (66kg, 3-0), Ali Al Ibrahimi (77kg, 5-2).

Meanwhile, KHK MMA professional fighter Frankie Edgar has arrived in Las Vegas ahead of his fight against Brazilian Jose Aldo. A win will also give the interim featherweight title to Frankie as the title holder Irish Conor McGregor moved to another category.  The latter defeated Aldo so the Brazilian will be keen to return again to the winning path.

KHK MMA’s Habeeb Noor Mohammedov is scheduled to meet his fans on Friday at Hollywood Palace in Las Vegas, he has a big fan base and is one of the most prominent fighters as well.
