'Eid Al-Fitr is an opportunity to foster unity, tolerance'

Manama : Jaffaria Endowments Chairman Sheikh Mohsen Al-Asfoor has affirmed that Eid Al-Fitr is an opportunity to foster unity, solidarity and tolerance among members of the Bahraini society and Muslims. 
It is also an opportunity to put aside differences and look forward to the future, he added.

In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Sheikh Al-Asfoor extended warmest congratulations and good wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, the Bahraini government and people and the Arab and Islamic nations on Eid Al-Fitr, wishing them many happy returns.

He asserted that the current challenges, especially the spread of the waves of terrorism, excommunication and unjustified bloodshed in many GCC, Arab, Islamic countries and all over the word, require Muslims to get united and rally together against the plots staged against them for the aim of dividing their societies and dragging them into the abyss of bloody and destructive wars and conflicts.

He expressed hope that Eid Al-Fitr would be a good opportunity for followers of Islamic sects to overcome their differences and get united, calling for the need to fortify Muslims against division and sedition.
