Court rejects Bahraini's case against ministry
Manama : The High Administrative Court has rejected the case filed by a Bahraini citizen who sued the Housing Ministry for not allotting a house for him in a new project.
The Ministry launched the project in Al Nabeeh Salih and the plaintiff felt that he was denied the housing unit, according to the court files.
His application that dates back to October 8, 2005, alleged that he was not allotted any house, while many of his peers were granted housing units under the Ministry’s project.
He claimed that he was eligible to be granted a housing unit like others.
However, the court stated that there was no law imposing the Ministry to give the plaintiff a unit, ruling out any occurrence of foul play during the distribution of units.
The court declined the lawsuit as the case was not supported by any evidence.
