Lost Paradise of Dilmun wins top award
An amusement park in Bahrain has won a top award in the region. From the Middle East, Lost Paradise of Dilmun - Bahrain made it to the top 10 list amongst the regions best of the best.
TripAdvisor®, the largest travel planning and booking site, recently announced the winners of its Travelers’ Choice™ awards for Amusement Parks and Water Parks. Award winners were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for amusement parks and water parks worldwide, gathered over a 12-month period.
“From relaxing lazy rivers to thrilling roller coasters, these Travelers’ Choice award-winners offer amazing entertainment options for visitors young and young at heart,” said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor.
With nearly nine years of operations, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun continues to work on leveraging its regional profile that saw an annual increase of inbound tourism since it’s inception.
As the biggest waterpark in the country, it has pioneered state of the art rides and attractions while maximizing it’s immense space with live entertainment & family friendly activities all season long.

Embarking on yet another milestone, the waterpark adds two brand new rides aiming to further enhance the LPOD experience for the young and adults alike. Recently launched is the 7 story high Aqua Loop Rocket Slide and an exciting kid friendly pirate adventure ship slide.
