Bahrain to harness new technologies in waste recycling
Manama : As part of His Royal Highness's constant follow up of procedures to tackle the issue of domestic waste and accumulation of garbage in the Southern and Northern governorates, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister pointed out to the importance of harnessing new technologies for recycling in energy production similar to advanced countries in this field.
His Royal Highness directed the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning to coordinate with the relevant entities for the essential completion of special studies to establish a garbage recycling plant and to proceed with this key project to benefit from new technologies in recycling waste and production of energy and efforts for speedy overcoming of any obstacles to implement this project for protection of public health and environmental conservation.
