Man in custody for beating cops
Manama : A man was arrested for attacking two police officers and a police captain, court files revealed. The defendant, who is now in police custody, is facing a trial on grounds of attacking on duty police officers.
According to court files, the defendant, who is in his forties, initially engaged in a physical fight with medical personnel in a local clinic. The incident was reported to a nearby police station, and officers detained him from the scene. He was then taken to the station and interrogated by the police captain. However, during interrogation, the man reportedly shouted at the captain and attacked him and other police officers. The man has been charged with using force against on duty police officers and insulting them.
