Dave Fernie, Wells win competition
Manama : Dave Fernie and Adam Wells (29 nett) won this week’s Monday Night Lights competition at the Royal Golf Club, while Iftikhar Butt and playing partner Tapan Vaidya (30) came in a close second ahead of the duo of Rob and Debbie Lane (32 on count back).
Over 20 golfers took part in the “two player shambles” tournament which was played on the back nine holes of the Club’s challenging Montgomerie championship course. The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge where Sohail Singh, the Royal Golf Club’s Tournament Coordinator, was on hand to present the prizes.
