Bahrain condemns Nice terrorist attack

Manama : Bahrain strongly condemned the appalling terrorist act that targeted a crowd of innocent people in the city of Nice, France , which left dozens of deaths and others injured.

It expressed its sincere condolences and sympathies to the French government and people and to the victims’ relatives and families. In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wished the injured a quick recovery, denouncing the brutal terrorist act which is contrary to all religious, moral and humanitarian principles.

The ministry affirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with France and its people in this painful time, supporting all necessary measures to promote security and stability and protect citizens and residents on the French territory. It reiterated the Bahrain’s stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, regardless of its motives and justifications.

The statement stressed the need strengthen cooperation and coordination between all countries across the world to ensure that more decisive steps and effective policies are taken to combat this dangerous phenomenon and uproot and eliminate the sources and causes of this heinous scourge.
