Court rejects woman’s plea against insurance firm
Manama : The High Administrative Court rejected the case of a woman who was demanding the Social Insurance Organisation to register and insure her.
The plaintiff was serving in a ceremony hall for seven years. She alleged that her employer forgot to register her in the Social Insurance. She said that her employer expressed readiness to retroactively register her in order, however the Social Insurance Organisation’s officials rejected her request.
The woman indicated that she was serving between the years 2000 and 2007, but the commercial registration of the hall showed that it was launched in 2001.
Thus, the High Administrative Court stated that this difference sparked suspicion among judges at the court. It also suggested that it wasn’t rest-assured with the plaintiff’s accusations.
