Pakistan Bahrain Business Conference in September

Manama : Pakistan-Bahrain Business Opportunities Conference will be organised on September 27 in the Kingdom.

Besides Bahraini businessmen, Pakistani, Arab, expatriate and international businessmen from across the Gulf countries would participate in the conference, which aims to build strong economic ties between Pakistan, Bahrain and the Gulf countries.

This is an initiative of the Pakistan Embassy Bahrain in association with Ministries of Commerce of both countries and the relevant government bodies to take forward the economic ties between Pakistan and Kingdom of Bahrain.

“Pakistan and Bahrain have agreed to expand their economic ties and take their business, trade and commerce relations to a new level,” stated Pakistan’s Ambassador to Bahrain after the successful visit by Bahraini delegation to Islamabad 

The delegation was led by Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary Afro Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Speaking about the initiative, Ambassador Javed Malik said that following his meetings with Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, meaningful efforts are underway to expand Pakistan’s economic ties with Bahrain.

The Ambassador said that the government of Bahrain government delegation had a special meeting with the Pakistani Minister of Commerce Khurram Dastagir Khan to give a practical shape to the conference that would create opportunities for Pakistani and Bahraini businesses to explore new horizons of mutual cooperation.

He said that Bahrain is a hub of business and finance in the Gulf region and this presents attractive business opportunities to Pakistani businessmen. 

“Similarly, Pakistan offers some lucrative and most attractive investment opportunities, which would be very interesting for Bahraini and Gulf businessmen,” he added.
