CPISP welcomes its new batch

ManamaCrown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) officials held an orientation meeting for the new group of scholarship recipients and their parents at the Court of the Crown Prince yesterday. The officials briefed them on the programme’s internal policies and procedures, and the academic requirements and expectations of CPISP scholars during their university studies abroad.

On the occasion, CPISP Head of Finance and Student Affairs Shatha Ahmed Ali highlighted the vision of Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in developing the talents and capabilities of Bahrain’s youth. 

The CPISP aims to provide its scholars with the opportunity to study at top international universities and experience various international cultural backgrounds.  She added that the scholars were given the freedom to choose their desired field of study from recognised international universities. 

She congratulated the 2016 recipients of the programme’s 10 annual scholarships, who include public and private school students, and wished success on their studies abroad.

 The 2016 group of scholars include Husain Ali Altaraif, Sara Husain Nasaif, Sayed Hashem Hadi Alaali, Noor Ayoob Alsairafi, Husain Abdulameer Ali, and Sawsan Sayed Mohamed Alshaiba. They  will be going to preparatory schools in the US to attain American High School Diplomas before applying for university courses.  

The scholars also include Abdullah Marwan Zaini (going to University of Pennsylvania, USA); Yasmeen Hassan Jassim (Stanford University, USA); Saif Najeeb Jamsheer (University of Bath, UK); and Faten Omran Hasan (University of Virginia, USA).
