Youth City 2030 today
Manama : The seventh edition of the Youth City 2030 will open today at 5pm at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The event will be held under the patronage of His Majesty’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports will organise the function in cooperation with Tamkeen as a strategic partner. The Youth City 2030 will run until August 24.
State officials will attend the inaugural ceremony. Four centres will provide 81 programmes that offer training opportunities in the fields of leadership skills, sciences, technology and arts.
The participants conducted four mock evacuation drills over two days in cooperation with the Civil Defence.
