Three road revamp projects complete
Manama : Revamp work at Abu Shaheen, Daibal and Noon avenues in Riffa have been completed, said Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Ministry Roads Projects and Maintenance Director Sayyed Bader Alawi.
Alawi said the projects included the revamp of 6.717 km roads, repaving of the avenues with asphalt, construction of parking spaces in front of commercial shops, walkways for pedestrians, installation of traffic signs, construction of a rain-water drainage system and water collections tanks, and replacing of some light poles in collaboration with the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA).
The BD 698,717,308- project was awarded to National Excavation Establishment.
