Outstanding RCO students honoured

ManamaA number of  outstanding students, who were honoured at the 13th annual celebration held by the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), were received yesterday by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s mother at her Majlis. 

The event was held under the patronage of Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and RCO Board of Trustees Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The meeting was also attended by RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed and a number of RCO affiliates and staff members. Shaikh Nasser’s mother thanked HM the King for his personal care and follow-up on the outcome of the education provided to the orphans affiliated with the RCO. 

She also noted his paternal care for all Bahraini orphans and vowed to safeguard their right for education and a decent life. She congratulated the honoured students and their parents on the achievement. 

She also praised the efforts exerted by the RCO under the leadership of Shaikh Nasser in supporting the Bahraini orphans and carrying out development projects in brotherly and friendly countries.

On the occasion, the RCO Secretary-General thanked Shaikh Nasser’s mother, commending her initiative to meet the outstanding students and urge them to continue the path of excellence.

Shaikh Nasser’s mother was the first to donate for the model kindergarten project to be set up by the RCO in all governorates. She took charge of setting up Um Nasser Model Nursery in the Southern Governorate as part of her support to the activities of the RCO.
