307,492 people entered Bahrain last week
Manama : A total of 307,492 people had entered Bahrain between July 14 and 20, said the Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residence (GDNPR).
He added that 255,049 of them arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries via King Fahd Causeway, 52,189 through Bahrain International Airport and 254 through ports.
King Fahd Causeway, the 25-kilometre-long terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travellers and vehicles ever since, making it one of the busiest roads in the Arab world.
