Top honours for Bahrain Riders

Manama: Bahraini rider Khalid Hilal Al Khateri (49.22 seconds) came in first place at the Riat Sport Zinterem Championship in Germany, followed by compatriot Ahmed Mansour (52.28 seconds) with another Bahraini rider Faris Ahmed in eighth.

On this occasion, rider Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa extended his thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, Honorary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF); and to the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshall Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa for their support to his overseas outings which contributed in obtaining outstanding results.

Shaikh Isa also valued the follow up of BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dhiab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi and Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Brigadier-General Ghanem Ibrahim Al-Fadhala to the needs of the team during their participation.

Rider Al Khateri expressed his joy at his achievement and for Bahraini equestrian sport which gives the team extra confidence going into future events.
