HM King lauds BDF’s makeover plans

Manama : The plans of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) to acquire cutting edge military systems and boost the soldiers’ efficiency by providing them with high-level training were praised by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. 

The outstanding performance of the BDF personnel in many local and international sessions was also hailed by him during a visit to the BDF headquarters yesterday.

 He was welcomed on arrival by Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Royal Guard Commander Brigadier HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and several other senior officers.

HM the King met with senior officers and took pride in the BDF and its dedicated personnel. He commended the noble duties of the BDF affiliates, stressing that “they are always a source of pride for all.”

HM the King gave his directives, lauding military cooperation with the GCC countries and other friendly nations to boost regional security and welfare. He affirmed Bahrain’s unflinching support to noble humanitarian missions to promote welfare and peace. 

HM King Hamad added that Bahrain will always remain secure and glorious with the one-family spirit prevailing in the Kingdom.
