MUSS training concludes

Manama : Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) programme in its sixth season involving 20 young players, are now back in Bahrain equipped with expert skills to help progress their football careers after travelling to the UK for a world-class training experience.

The Bahraini talents were trained at MUSS training grounds Carrington and The Cliff under the supervision of UEFA qualified coaches.

Commenting on the VIVA footballers, Mick Bennett, Head coach at MUSS said, “We are very impressed with the level of football talents received this year which is evident from the rigorous pre-selection of the players. The players showed a keen desire to learn new skills and techniques with a great aptitude to apply them on the pitch.”

During the training, MUSS coaches worked with VIVA players to enhance individual and teamwork skills including dribbling, shooting and positional play as well as defending and attacking techniques. They were trained using the Manchester United play of conduct, which has been developed over a number of years taking into account the learnings of the academy and the first team.
