Expat girl’s abductors detained for seven days
Manama : A Bahraini man and an Asian woman, who were arrested for abducting a five-year-old Indian girl, have been detained for seven days pending further investigations.

“A coroner was assigned to examine the girl, to determine if she was assaulted in anyway,” Al Na’aar said.
The girl, Sarah, was kidnapped by a Bahraini man from her mother’s car in Hoora on Tuesday night.
“Sarah is in good health. She and her mother are gradually overcoming the trauma caused by the incident,” Anish Charles, the girl’s uncle told DT News yesterday.
He added that they were prevented from revealing information regarding the case.
Meanwhile, appreciation messages were poured on police from locals and officials abroad for swiftly capturing the culprits.
Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj thanked Bahrain Government for swiftly rescuing the girl. “I am happy Sarah has been rescued. Thank you Bahrain,” Swaraj posted on her official Twitter account.
