Countdown begins for Nakhool Superstar finale

ManamaParticipants are waiting with bated breath as the finale of Nakhool Superstar Competition will be held tonight inside the Nakhool Tent at the Bahrain National Museum. Nine children will vie for the title on stage at 8pm.

The Nakhool Superstar Competition, a staple of the Bahrain Summer Festival, is organised to trace the artistic talent in children between five and 15 years of age.

The competitions are in the following categories: singing, music, poetry, acting, mono act and mimicry, and modelling etc. It takes place in collaboration with the Bahrain Institute of Music and Avant Garde Company.

The winner will be titled ‘Nakhool Superstar’.

Meanwhile, the Nakhool Tent will continue until August 7 from 4pm to 9pm, offering a range of activities, including educational workshops.

The Tent also offers Nakhool Theatre where a series of artistic performances, entertaining games, multi-cultural musical and theatrical plays will be held.

Besides musical performances by the Police Band and the Mohammed Bin Fares Band, there will be theatrical plays like “Imaging Einstein” and “Ibn Battuta” in collaboration with MTE studios.
