Horizontal visibility drops at Bahrain International Airport
Manama : An official source from the Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications said horizontal visibility at Bahrain International Airport dropped today as low as 600 metres because of a dust wave that hit Bahrain from Saudi Arabia, and more precisely the Empty Quarter, due to a low air pressure.
The department added the dust wave is likely to continue till tomorrow Saturday with a gradual improvement in horizontal visibility. It also pointed out that the average maximum temperature in August is 38 degrees Celsius and the average minimum one is 31 degrees Celsius.
