Al Baraka to train new batch of University students

Manama :  Al Baraka Banking Group and Al Baraka Islamic Bank have announced organising an introductory ceremony for its new batch of undergraduate trainees for the summer training programme, which included 24 students.
The meeting with the trainees were attended by Adnan Ahmed Yousif the Board Member and President & Chief Executive of Al Baraka banking Group, Mohamed Isa Al Mutaweh Board Member and Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Islamic Bank, Abdulrahman Shehab, Executive Vice President - Head of Operations and Administration at Al Baraka Banking Group, as well as a number of officials in the Group and the Bank.


The students are completing at the moment their studies at the University of Bahrain, as well as in other major private universities.
As part of the training programme, students will receive intensive hands-on training for two months in various key departments in the group and the bank. They will be introduced to various departments and activities in the bank related to retail banking, corporate banking, private banking, treasury, operations, public relations and others. During the programme each trainee will be subjected to special training plan to ensure that they benefit from the training.
It is worth mentioning that Al Baraka Banking Group and Al Baraka Islamic Bank continued managing summer training programme with significant success over the past years. The programme has seen a steady increase in the number of trainees who took their positions in various companies, institutions and banks in Bahrain.
