West Riffa Block 912 revamp completed
Manama : Roads Projects & Maintenance at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning, Director Sayyed Bader Alawi, said the Ministry has completed the revamp works of Block # 912 in West Riffa, as part of old areas revamp programme.
According to Alawi, the project comprises of re-constructing and revamping 18-km of roads and passageways, removing old pavement layers, leveling works, asphalt and brick paving works, implementing a storm-water drainage network and storm-water collection tanks, implementing ground channels for present and future usage, extending water grid connections in coordination with the Electricity & Water Authority (EWA), lighting and signage.
The BD2,368,000 project was awarded to Jalal Al A’Ali & Sons.
