Asian arrested for posting ex-girlfriend’s photos online
Manama : An Asian man was arrested by the police for posting his ex-girlfriend’s photographs online with sleaze comments in a bid to avenge her.
The Public Prosecution has interrogated the accused based on a complaint filed by the girl. Meanwhile, he was ordered to be kept in detention for seven days, pending investigations into the case.
Speaking about the incident, the girl said, “I was shocked to see my photos online with sleaze comments about me below them.”
She told police that she had suspicion on her ex-boyfriend. “We had been in a relationship for two years. Later, I decided to part ways with him. But he tried to convince me to come back. I believe he posted the photos after he lost hope,” she added.
However, investigations have confirmed the victim’s claims.
“I was shocked by her reluctance. I tried so much to restore our relationship. But I learned that she was dating someone else. So I posted the photographs online,” the defendant told prosecutors.
