Bolster security at Manama Gold souq : official
Manama : In the wake of spate of robberies in Manama Gold Souq, the first Vice-Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and head of the Old Markets Committee Khalid Alzayani has called for buttressing security at the old souq.
Denouncing the thefts recently, he warned of the consequences of such incidents, which would affect the confidence of traders and customers, and the vigour of the market.
However, Alzayani lauded the Ministry of Interior and the Capital Governorate for meeting the GCC Gold and Jewelry Association headed by Mohammed Sajid to discuss security issues.
